New blood test could stop one in 10 cancer deaths: 'Holy grail' trialled by NHS could save 16,000 lives a year.

The blood test aims to detect more than 50 types of cancer before symptoms. Hundreds taking part in the trial are already being referred for a scan as a result. The test, if successful, could be rolled out to a million people as early as 2024.
