NASA officially delays its next mission to Mars until 2018

NASA said it is now targeting May 5th, 2018 for the launch of InSight, with the spacecraft scheduled to land on Mars on November 26th, 2018.

NASA's Insight lander will miss its scheduled launch window in March 2016 due to a continuing fault with one of its primary scientific instruments.
